MOT Test Peterborough

An MOT test is something that every vehicle has to go through once it’s over three years old. It’s designed to ensure that the vehicle is in good working order and is safe to be on the road, not only for yourself but for other road users as well. Here at Vital Vehicle Care we are your Peterborough MOT experts and you can rest assured that your vehicle is in safe hands.

You can get your vehicle tested one day short of a calendar month prior to the expiry date, effectively providing you with a 13 month MOT.

We can test your vehicle while you wait. Usually this will take between 45 minutes and 1 hour, and we have a comfortable waiting area with refreshments to make the time fly by.

Once your test is complete, we will inform you if there were any faults or weaknesses that were identified.

If you’re unlucky this time around and your car doesn’t pass its test, we have courtesy cars available for you to use while your own vehicle is repaired and retested.

So, if you are looking to book MOT in Peterborough or are unsure of when your car’s MOT expires, give our friendly team a call today.

What If My Vehicle Fails?

The majority of vehicles tested at Vital Vehicle Care pass the first time. However, on occasion it is necessary to carry out some remedial work in order to declare the vehicle roadworthy for another year.

If this happens and your car does fail its MOT test, we will advise you of the repairs required and provide you with a quote. It is then your choice as to whether you instruct us to proceed with the repairs.

If your car does fail, we offer a free retest if it is carried out within 10 days of the original test. We also have courtesy cars available should you require one.
